Our community educator, Sonja Mertz, will be exhibiting at the upcoming Senior Fair & Health Screenings, hosted by the North 65 Chamber of Commerce.

This free event is a great opportunity for older adults, caregivers, and families to connect with local resources and access free health screenings.

Sonja will be providing information about problem gambling prevention, particularly how it affects older adults. Seniors are considered an at-risk group for problem gambling due to factors such as social isolation, fixed incomes, grief, and cognitive decline—all of which can increase vulnerability to risky gambling behaviors.
